If you think that killzone 2 looks better than the trailer, then i can undestand why you are dissapointed with the Halo 3 graphics, because you my friend only see what you want to see.
BTW, Killzone 2 looks great but not better than the trailer. The caracter models, textures, the lighting, everyting in that trailer look way better than in the ingame videos.

My little bro got it last night, like at 12:30 he was already playing it. Good game. Im a little disappointed with the graphics but over all its a really fun game to play.
My little brother bought it last night. Personally i think the game its great but not 10/10 more like a 9.2/10. I don't see anything wrong with the game, its fun, great multiplayer, great Campaign, the only complain i have and this is why i don't think it deserves a 10/10 its the graphics.
I saw a lots and lots of jaggies in the campaign not that many in the multiplayer and at times it did look like Halo 2 in HD.
